## Overview

The HTTP Service monitoring integration provides healthchecks and performance monitoring for local HTTP services (e.g. a service running on a host or pod where an agent is deployed).

This integration includes the following resources:

- `http-endpoint-metrics` [check](https://docs.sensu.io/sensu-go/latest/observability-pipeline/observe-schedule/checks/)
