Can a sensu-client use a local handler or does it need the server for all handlers?

I want the client to send all of it’s system stats to graphite not the server. The metric checks are all standalone.

All results must be transported to a Sensu server for processing. One benefit is all data is transported over an encrypted and authenticated connection.
