can Sensu Backend installed in kubernets cluster monitor resources out side of kubernetes cluster? Outside of kubernetes cluster sensu agents are installed using Chef
Hey there! Sensu doesn’t make any differentiation between the types of platforms in terms of how they’re deployed. You can easily run a Kubernetes cluster and have agents on VMs, baremetal, or other containers. The only caveat is that any ingress rules for the Kubernetes cluster would need to have TCP 8081 open for the agents to communicate with the backends.
