How to send emails from sensu

Hi There,

I need help to be able to send email for any check (like /opt/sensu/embedded/bin/check-cpu.rb).

I have gone through the other threads about email notification. But, not able to understand the end to end setup.

Any pointers would help me.

Please let me know if any details needed from my side?

Install the sensu-plugins-mailer handler-mailer you can find at https://github.com/sensu-plugins/sensu-plugins-mailer

You install it like any other handler - instructions on the sensu site at https://sensuapp.org/docs/0.26/guides/getting-started/intro-to-handlers.html

Hi Joel,

Thanks for the quick reply!!

I just figured that my sensu client does not have a file called - /opt/sensu/embedded/bin/ruby

Is there anything that I am missing from the basic installation itself?

Thanks for the help!

I found out that the emails were not going out from the system and it was not related to the sensu setup.
