After installing a new check into /etc/sensu/conf.d, is it necessary to restart the sensu client service, or does Sensu automatically pick it up?
What if an existing check is modified? Would Sensu automatically pick up the changes or is a restart necessary?
Yes, you will need to restart sensu-client whenever you install or change a check in /etc/sensu/conf.d.
