We made some structural changes to make authentication information easier to find in the Operations > Control Access category. These changes involved dividing up the content previously covered under Configure Authentication, so we removed that page.
General information about basic authentication and using an external authentication provider moved to the Control Access top-level page. We also added information to distinguish between authentication and authorization and provide context for the two kinds of access control we describe in this category.
Each external authentication provider now has its own dedicated page in the Control Access category instead of being covered together in a single page:
