Or can i compile it under arm architecture?

There are no pre-compiled binaries for arm.
There is no particular reason why they wouldn't exist, it is just hard
to build for them.
Here is how the omnibus packages are built:
If all you need is a client, you might be able to get away with just a
`gem-install` and some init script glue?
